Outstanding Emergency Care from Dr. Magie and Staff While on vacation, our dog, "Buster" suddenly became very ill, and we were in a stressful and unfamiliar situation. We reached out to the clinic, and Dr. Magie and the entire staff went above and beyond to help us. Even though we weren’t regular clients, they made time to see our dog right away and treated us with incredible kindness and urgency. Dr. Magie performed a thorough exam, ordered blood work and x-rays, and took our concerns seriously—especially our fear that our dog might have swallowed part of a bone. Thanks to their careful evaluation, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and received prompt treatment that made a huge difference in his recovery. Not a happy camper, with vet and techs showing a nearly total lack of compassion for my two dogs; in fact I was told by the vet himself that even though I had much compassion for my dogs, they simply could not show that compassion. My answer was "WHAT?!" Biggest problem is that they do NOT listen to the pet owner.....they interrupt and blow you off. The dogs cannot speak for themselves. The owner must do that. Very, very disappointed after one year with them.
