Mad River Kennel

The guys there are great and friendly! The kennels are air conditioned and my puppy never has to go through the Texas heat, She loves all of the open space and the lake there. Definitely the best trainers in Dallas, so I have no doubts that she's in good hands when she's there.

I have had two hunting labs trained at Mad River and have been very with their service.

Terrible place. After 6 weeks my dog had regressed, not improved. Kennel won’t have many dogs in it if you visit, you should ask them to show you what a dog they have can do.... My dog developed behavior issues after he went there at 6 months old. He hates all people besides his owners. The $150/hr behavioralist blames his issues 100% on his mistreatment at this facility. Don’t walk, run away from these people. Also note the positive reviews from this place are mostly from people that work there, at least use a fake name but this is right in line with the intelligence level I would expect from these people.

NEVER bring your pup here. We boarded our dog here and when we went to pick him up, the guy running it said the owners went out of town and left our dog in his kennel for THREE DAYS without letting him out for the restroom or even a little fresh air. He was COVERED in his own feces and urine from sitting in a cage for THREE days without even food and water!!! He was rail thin! I feel so sorry for these dogs here. We never even received a call that they were leaving so that we could make other arrangements. Definitely go somewhere else!

The best dog training program i have used. My dog stayed at their facility off and on for over a year. The end result was unbelievable, I would recommend them. Thanks
