Dr. Shade has been wonderful with our dogs, who are truly part of our family and incredibly important to us. Knowing they are always treated with expertise, kindness, and genuine care means everything. The entire team at Macungie Animal Hospital is outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently exceeding our expectations. Our youngest Labrador, Houston, was recently neutered by Dr. Shade, and she previously performed the same procedure for our other Labrador, Nestlé. Both experiences were smooth, reassuring, and handled with the highest level of professionalism. We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received. Thank you to Dr. Shade and everyone at Macungie Animal Hospital for taking such excellent care of our dogs. We are truly grateful.

My Bichon, Winston has been a patient here for years. The staff are incredible! All my questions and concerns have been promptly addressed.. We usually see Dr. Keehner, she is wonderful! At this last visit, we saw Dr. Boyer, she was also excellent and very thorough. She also called twice after his appt to check in on him. One of the nurses, Jess is very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly-recommend this practice, they provide exceptional care!

My visits here have been positive and very compassionate over the past 10 plus years. I am appreciative to the staff that has taken care of my furry and not furry family. Even at the hardest times we have always felt comfortable and at peace.

I forgot the name of the lady who answered, but she was very helpful in the time of need for my bunny. She went out her way to email me hospital locations/numbers and gave me extra numbers for places that can see my bunny on top of that. She was very honest and sympathetic, and I really appreciate that lady. If you’re that lady reading this, thank you!

We are so thankful for Macungie Animal hospital and most importantly so thankful for Dr. Miller. I freaked out because my pup had a small lump on her chest, got an appointment the same day and Dr. Miller understood my anxiety and got me answers same day. Mochie absolutely loves him, as soon as he walked in the room she did a little pounce like ooh a new friend. It brings my dog Mom heart comfort knowing she is always in the best care.
