Lowrys Bed & Biscuit

We recently had our dogs stay at Lowrys Bed and Biscuit when we received a call that the dogs had been in a fight. A young employee told us that one of our dogs was taken to the vet for a few stitches he received and the other just had superficial scratches. When we called back, we were then told by this young employee, who I believe is the daughter of the owner, that the fight was much worse and lasted for 45 minutes, she didn't know how to break them up so animal control was called and took both dogs to the vet where they both were treated for major and possibly life threatening wounds, one of the dogs has so many sutures they are uncountable. The minute we walked in it felt like home, and even my dogs were comfortable. My female lab, who as a rule hates everyone she doesn’t know, immediately warmed up to the lovely staff when she met them. They were great about asking very specific questions about the dogs, which was refreshing. We’ve boarded the labs several times at other kennels and never had as thorough of a questionnaire before. This only reassured me once more that they treat their clients like family. We have used Lowrys bed and Biscuit for years. Our dog, Roscoe, loves to go there. We we arrive, he is ready to go inside and runs behind the counter and jumps in the persons lap. I know that he is treated good.

Great dedicated staff. Gives your pets love while they are there and has fenced in area for dogs to.run around not like if they are just walked to go to bathroom. Reasonable prices. They are there 7 days a week with pets over 12 hours a day, not like if pet is left alone on certain days or holidays when vet only comes just to.feed and clean up kennels. Needed a place to take care of my two furbabies for a weekend. They did wonderful with them! They were able to keep them together and kept them well fed and exercised! My two pups were full of energy, fat, and happy as can be when we picked them up. I'll be dropping them off again next time I need a daycare!
