This was one of the most positive experiences of my life. I had always been very fearful of dogs. But due to many issues in my family's health, I thought maybe getting a dog would help bring some happiness to everyone else. It just so happened that a large 1 1/2 year old mutt had been wandering for over 2 months in the winter during the cold and well I thought maybe this was the sign. So I to my families shock and joy adopted Buddy and immediately signed up for lessons at Lower Lassen K9. The facilities are just beautiful set in yhe cool pines of Shingletown. Debra Miller saw right away that I needed much more training than my dog. With endless patience and much encouragement I went thru the 6 week course very successfully! My dog loved every minute. We bonded and I miraculously

Very impressed, started with an evaluation of my dog and Debi was amazing, straightforward and super informative. I signed up for 6 sessions and have been amazed at the change in my dog already, Debi has trained both he and I and it has been exactly what we needed. I am more confident and comfortable in handling him and he is no longer shaky and anxious and has been able to begin learning his tasks as a service dog. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.

Our newest dog is the second we have enrolled for obedience training at Lower Lassen K9. Debi and Guenter are great working with the dogs and us. We brought our newest home at 2 1/2 Years. She had little socialization and was frightened of the leash. 3 lessons and she knew how to sit, and come on command. The biggest thing is she loves her leash and walking on it! I am so thankful to Debi and Guenter. We are happy and so is Rio, our dog!

If you are looking for a dog trainer, Lower Lassen K9 should be your first choice. I got a 9wk old White Swiss Shepard puppy, and 3 wks later my husband said “You have to find a dog trainer today”. She was biting the leash, not coming when called etc. After doing some google searches I found LLK9, and decided to call. It’s been life changing, not only do I have an incredibly well behaved dog now, but it’s more than that. I’m also a member of their K9 club, who meets weekly, and it’s opened up a whole new world to me. Debi and Guenters dog training experience is something most dog trainers wish they had. Just pick up the phone and call them, your dog deserves the best.

We took our 15 month German Shepard to Lower Lassen K9 Training after little success with his first trainer. Our GSD was extremely active, we were unable to walk him comfortably on a leash. Our Goal was to have a dog that would listen, behave and above all come when called. I can say with complete confidence that the training has exceeded all our goals. What we learned through Gunter & Debra's training is you get what you give, if you put in the time and effort (practice, practice) you are rewarded with a great addition to your family. Our GSD comes when called even if he is distracted by deer, coyote, and the hardest of all squirrels. If are truly interested in having a great well behave dog give them a call, come watch the Saturday class and see for yourself.
