Came to Lonestar after my previous vet was very loud, abrupt, and not overly gentle, which caused more stress to my already stressed out cat (and myself). Lonestar was also conveniently located on the West side of Wicomico, much closer to home. Dr. Dixon and ALL staff are incredibly gracious and kind. They are so gentle and calm- my cat does amazingly there and I attribute it to their gentle and quiet demeanor. I couldn’t recommend them more. I also appreciate that I can text them quick questions- makes it easy to communicate. Highly recommend!

Best Vet I’ve ever had! Helped me above and beyond for my handicapped Cocker “Sophie” who was 14 when she passed… I picked her out of a litter at 6 weeks brought her home after 7…. She was my best friend and companion for a very long time. Marsha, her sons, husband and Staff are great people! Katie is a huge help as well all are very professional and hold no punches. Like family and I’d never take my furbabies anywhere else!!!
We love Dr Dixon and her staff! Always such amazing care for our pup. We have been coming here for years! Very accommodating always answers our questions and treating our pups like their own. Thank you :)
