Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals

Adopted the 5 year old deaf bull terrier that’s been there for a long while. I’ll tell you what, she’s perfect, smart, a protector, and super loving. My best companions I have adopted.

I recently called this animal shelter to ask a simple question about why they are currently full and why so many shelters in the area seem to be at capacity. Instead of receiving helpful information or even basic courtesy, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. The call was abruptly ended while I was still trying to ask questions.

My wife and I Foster for these guys. There are caring group of people who care about the well-being of dogs and cats, most of them saved, to be able to find good homes

The love they show the animals in their care is amazing. We adopted Marco. A min pin mix. This amazing boy has so much love!!

Adopted my Belly girl from there 9 1/2 years ago. She was a box puppy abandoned behind a store with her litter. She's the best friend in the world. There were 7 puppies in the litter so they were named after the 7 dwarfs. Her adoption name is happy. She's alive and well! I love her soo much! Keep doing what you are doing! 🐕🐶❤️❤️❤️❤️
