Called early morning spoke to the front desk gals who are amazing by the way, got me in so they can check out my cat Mr. Wendall. Everyone from the check-in to check out were exceptional! The doctors even explained in detail what was going to be happening and what they were recommending. This helped tremendously. All were knowledgeable! I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years after I was given 2 ferrets. After my poor Alfred passed away a few weeks ago due to coronavirus I called to let them know since I still have his sister and needed to make her an appointment. Not even a week later and I received a beautiful letter with every staffs signature showing sympathy to my baby’s passing. I’m forever grateful for every staff there, they definitely make the 4 hour drive worth it love you guys ❤️

Dr. Lindsay Geiger was absolutely wonderful. I had to bring in my senior ferret, Penny, to be put to rest and Dr. Geiger was so lovely, explained everything and was very compassionate and kind. She’s in the exact right profession because it takes a special kind of person to help an animal cross while still being present and caring for the owner as well. Such an unpleasant and sad day but Dr. Geiger made it much easier.

I recently had a pet rodent neutered by Dr. Moore and drove over 9 hours to do so! Well worth the trip. Not only was she wonderful with my pet and me, the staff was kind, informative and updated me by phone every step of the way. My pet recovered more rapidly than ANY animal I have had that has undergone surgery. I have had many animals who have undergone different surgeries PLUS I have worked in the veterinary industry for my entire working life (45 years). When I picked him up, it was as if nothing had happened to him. Eating and drinking normally, no obvious visable incision, he did not worry or interfere with incision site...it was incredibly seamless! I obviously recommend Lone Mountain Animal Hospital VERY highly!

We have been using Lone Mountain since 2017. They use to be an amazing animal hospital. After today’s experience we won’t be coming back here. We brought our dog in to be put to sleep, she had gone down hill very very fast. We didn’t have an appointment, I know they offer emergency visits for an additional fee which I was fine paying for. The staff was SO rude and heartless. They acted like we were asking for them to give us their kidney, so put out because we walked in. I understand walking in maybe makes things more difficult to fit in to the days schedule but that’s what the emergency visit is for. I would have appreciated a little compassion though since we were having to put down a member of our family for over 13 years. It was just plain heartless the way they acted. 💔
