If you love animals and are wanting to volunteer,then this is definitely a great pick! Very hands on and informative. The animals are well taken care of and loved. The animals come from all different backgrounds and rescues. The owners are very welcoming, inviting and care about the volunteers as well.

What a wonderful place to visit- adults and children alike! Jerry and Nicole make tremendous efforts to care for these animals. They give tours and introduce all of their animals - you will receive tons of love from these lovely rescue animals. They run off of donations and volunteer help- so please help where you can ! They are supporting a great cause. They also can host homeschool/parties/events and more. Check out this great animal center when you are in the liberty hill/bertram area.

Jerry and Nicole were very kind and knowledgeable. Saw chickens, cows, donkeys, tortoises, snakes, ducks, a horse, geese, pigs, goats, cats, rabbits, and more. They rescue and care for all these animals. Glad we found this small farm and caring people.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about LJ Acres. They truly take the time to explain everything it takes to care for all the animals they have onsite. Not only do they talk to you about every animal there, they also tell you the history of each animal! Jerry one of the owners has so much valuable information about each animal. The tour takes about an hour to an hour and half! Please consider leaving a donation whether that be money or there are plenty of other things that could be donated just reach out to Jerry and Nicole!

Awsome place. The animals look very well take care of. All the animals are super sweet and love hugs. The owner had a lot of knowledge and was very very nice explaining everything to us.
