We just adopted the sweetest kitty from here and everybody we interacted with was very nice. You could tell how much they care about the animals they have there, and also how much they care about the making sure the animals are going to a good home.

Very pleasant employees, excellent adoption experience! They suggested bringing my dog with me to visit with the cat I wanted to adopt, and it was the best decision EVER!! That cat was NOT HAVING ANY PART of my little dog, but I quickly found another very sweet little cat who was not bothered by my dog at all!! So I adopted her, instead, and now they’re happily co-existing in our household. Kudos to the staff at Live Oak Animal Shelter for their patience and service!!

We just adopted “Sue” earlier this week and she has been such a great fit for our family. Adoption process was smooth. Everyone here was kind and shared plenty of information on our new puppy journey. Extremely grateful for that!
