Little Rescue on the Prairie

This is the most kind caring people who run this rescue. You can tell she genuinely cares about these animals and it very much shows. Customer service is excellent. The only thing she seems to be lacking is volunteers and funds. But her heart and soul is in the right place and reasons. With more donations she could really upgrade her facility and make a name for herself and her non profit organization. I just love this rescue. So let's open our hearts and donate.. five stars from me....

I adopted from Danielle at a petsmart about a month and a half ago. Everything was very rushed, but nonetheless I was ensured that my cat was healthy and normal. A day or two after adopting I contacted her attempting to see which food they had her eating at the shelter because she wasn’t eating any of the food I bought. Danielle didn’t answer my multiple calls and texts but answered my boyfriend who called and texted from a completely different number. She told him to take my cat to the vet, as if these were new issues, (they had been going on for a while as stated by the vet). These alarming things, (not eating or drinking, excessive drooling, foul odor even after bath and grooming), had drastically gotten worse and luckily within the same week I was able to get her seen. We had recently said goodbye to our lovely Rosemarie Kitty. I was devastated and I didn’t want to replace her in any way. We were at PetSmart in Northfield when we saw Gina (Debbie). She was a force of nature! It took a little time, but we welcomed here home. It’s been nothing but laughs and, “What are you doin’?” Meet Gina everyone!

I contacted this rescue five times between the hours of 7 and 9 am on a Tuesday. I did not get the voicemail of the rescue any of these five times, and could tell the call was being sent to (default Verizon provided) voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining I had a kitten I wanted to drop off. I went to the shelter, rang the (Ring brand, camera equipped) doorbell. Getting no answer, I noticed the sign saying that drop offs are by appointment only. Seeing that, I called again on the doorstep. This was call number six. When on camera, I was sent to the rescue's voicemail and left another voicemail about the kitten. The voicemail said to allow two business days. After two business days, I reached out again. The phone rang twice and was sent to the default Verizon voicemail. I was never cont

Danielle is very compassionate about her rescue and shelter work. She knows each cat/kitten well and is most helpful in finding the right match. I am highly impressed on how well adjusted and friendly all her felines are as many are rescued as strays. It shows they are much loved, interacted with, and well cared for. I am very happy with the 6 yr. old female Tabby I was able to adopt to be a mature companion for my semi feral kitten who has shown much improvement of wanting to be near me as he watches our friendly interactions.
