Customer Reviews
We are so thankful for Lhasa Happy Homes rescue. Randee and her foster team are amazing. We had the privilege to meet the foster mom too! We felt the love and compassion they give to the dogs. They are such a caring staff, with excellent communication; and we appreciate their process to ensure a good match both ways. It was smooth and thorough all throughout. Everything they described about sweet Lilli is exactly how she is and we can tell she was well cared for; we are so grateful to continue the love and care to her as her new and Furever family. I highly recommend this rescue, they work so hard and give so much unconditional love; we experienced it firsthand. Thank you so so much! You made our Christmas wish come true for our family!
Randy and the team are simply fantastic! We have rescued two fur babies from this rescue- the process was seamless. The care and best interests of their rescues is priority number one for them and they are super diligent about this which we totally support. Randy is super experienced and has great instincts about what will and won’t work and is candidly honest and up front about this. It is refreshing and we appreciate the honesty and transparency. Randy has inspired me to have my own rescue one day- she is an inspiration to anyone that cares deeply about Lhasas and Shih Tzus. Thank you Randy for saving the lives of so many little ones and making the owners lives so much more rewarding!
Lhasa Happy Homes and its founder, Randee, continue to put so much time, dedication, and investment into all of their rescues. It is evident from the moment they are within LHH's care that the dog's well-being is the top priority. Through getting to know each dog's particular needs, funding medical procedures or behavioral training, thoroughly reviewing all applications, and more - these sweet dogs, from varying background stories, are sure to find the best fit for their forever homes. Although the process is thorough, adopting a dog is not a decision to be taken lightly and this is to find the optimal match for both the dog and you! If you are thinking of volunteering, fostering, or adopting I encourage you to check out Lhasa Happy Homes rescue on their website or at their adoption event
My husband and I knew we wanted a small female dog, preferably terrier / mix, and when we came across LHASA Happy Homes in Santa Monica, they had so many cute lap dogs it was hard to choose one! Ultimately Caitey (now called Missy) stole our hearts, and in just the past 2 weeks, she has settled in perfectly. Randee & the LHASA team rescued her from a shelter in North Central LA and rehabilitated her for a full month before we came across her and adopted her. Their team helped her get re-acclimated to society and she fits right in with our schedule (WFH sun-bathing, hikes on weekend, dinners out and great with other dogs). We are so fortunate they took such good care of her, and we highly recommend reaching out if you want a forever friend!
I have a lot of respect for the women that run Lhasa Happy Homes. As a volunteer and a foster parent for the non-profit, I see the hard work and dedication they put towards rescuing small dogs. They prioritize the well-being of their rescue’s and do a thorough job of finding and vetting the right forever home for each and every one of them. Anyone looking to adopt, foster or volunteer for small dogs shouldn’t overlook this foster-based animal rescue service (which saves more than just Lhasa Apsos.)
