Let's Pet

We went around looking for a ferret and this was the only place that keeps them in store. Everyone working was very helpful even on a crowded weekend. Place has been a staple of Winston for years and I've always found everything I've needed here. From birds, reptiles, fish and now ferrets. Staff is great and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys Ralphie is now home and happily with his older friend Peanut 🥜

Got a glimpse of him last week. Just enough to know he was male. Bought him yesterday and as soon as he hit the tank, he hid. I FINALLY got a good view of him, took several pics, zoomed in, and suddenly... he who was not named had a name. Meet Nick Fury. I am absolutely in love. This little quirk just made him my favorite fish. Thanks Let's Pet.

In February 2026 I purchased a 55 gal tank for the snake I also purchased from this establishment. Only to realize AFTER I had brought it home that it was a USED tank. There is damage to the bottom and top of the tank besides having random old pieces of tape around the outside. I was charged FULL price for a used tank which wasn't disclosed as two employees loaded it into my vehicle. I'm also a new snake owner and after conversations with seasoned snake owners and reading countless articles, the employees were completely wrong with the care information they gave me before I left. I've thought about going back to the store to speak with the owner, but instead I thought I would give a review instead. I will never purchase another item or pet from this store again.

BEST pet store in town! There is a variety of animals 🦜🐹🐀🐍🦎🐰🐠🐡, supplies of all kinds, friendly staff and the best part? These aren’t your typical employees; they know their stuff! The animals are well cared for. I’m an avid animal lover, I have been to every type of pet store in and around Winston, Let’s Pet is simply the premier option

We were in the area and my daughter wanted to stop in here and check on some items for her geckos. When you walk inside, its very, very crowded and almost claustrophobic with customers, lot of products as well as aquarium, cages, terrariums with fish, birds, snakes, small animals and others. We will try to visit again but during the week.
