Had to rush my baby boy here after work. My pup is usually nervous at the vet, and I haven’t spent a night away from him in years. I opted to let them keep him overnight for treatment and observation, which they did not influence me to do at all they gave me a much cheaper “take him home tonight” option. His symptoms scared me quite a bit so I thought it would be best for him to stay. When I asked if I could see him before I left, he was wagging his tail and looked happy with the vet tech and listened to her when she said it was time to go back, which put me much more at ease. While I was in a waiting room, I heard them performing CPR on a pup, and also heard them lose the pup and notify the owner which was extremely heartbreaking. I had a very disappointing experience at this vet clinic. My dogs got into a fight with other dogs and suffered a few lacerations on their faces and inside their mouths, requiring stitches. (My dogs were in my yard and two roaming dogs decided to pick a fighting through my iron gate! I will be getting a new gate.) I brought them in at 12 PM on a Saturday, but they didn’t even get to them until almost midnight. When going over the paperwork, I was asked to sign a form that listed the treatments, but there were no prices listed, just the total amount at the end. I asked for an itemized receipt but was told they couldn't print one. After some insistence, I was finally shown the breakdown on the computer, though it felt like pulling teeth. Love this place. Our German shepherd had eaten a copper compression sock and we decided to take her in after a while of not being able to keep food or liquid down. The staff from the get go were phenomenal, extremely caring, and helpful. Amazing service, when we had to leave her overnight they gave us a diagnosis (a blockage in intestine/stomach) and were able to rush her into surgery. Not only that, every time we called for an update or question they were more than willing to help us out, they were real over communicators. They kept her, monitored her, and made sure she was as comfortable as possible until she was healthy enough to come back home. They were truly our best bet to take anywhere in west Texas. Extremely thankful for the staff here

Waited 3 hours, and prices are absolutely insane! & they didn’t even do anything. My friend was also there with her puppy they told her $2300 and me $1091. A man was in there today crying they put his dog down and he paid $1500. I did not pay the $1091, I paid the $98 exam fee. For zero answers. I wouldn’t recommend going here the vet in Andrews is phenomenal the last time we went our cat stayed over night 3 days and we paid $400 and that was blood work and IV’s.

Came with an “emergency” with my dog. It was just a bad broken nail and really not an emergency, but wouldn’t stop bleeding and dog was in a lot of pain. Being the only 24hr place in Midland, of course it was busy with other animals that had issues more severe than what my dog was going through. The nurse was so nice and explained that it might be awhile, which was understandable. I was expecting a hefty bill for the treatment, but it was the exact opposite. I’m glad I brought dog in that night cause he received some excellent care/treatment. The bandaging was very clean work and props to whoever was involved with it. You can tell everyone that works here loves animals. Everything for aftercare was explained clearly and dog was happy! Thank you Legacy Animal Hospital 😁
