Lead by Love Dog Care

We recently completed our training with Lead by Love and couldn’t be more pleased! Steve worked with us in weekly 1-hour in-person sessions with our Cane Corso, Smokey. The transformation has been incredible — Smokey has done a complete 180 in his behavior. He now responds consistently to commands like “heel,” “come,” “touch,” “look at me,” and “wait.” Steve gave us the tools and confidence to guide our large pup into becoming a well-behaved companion. We’re now excited to take Smokey on walks on the greenway and to the dog park! Highly recommend Lead by Love — thank you, Steve!

Unfortunately the training didn't work for my pup. My toy poodle has separation anxiety and she would whine and cry when I am getting ready to go to work, when someone knocks the door and in the car when is time to go somewhere. I contacted Steve and told him about her issues of anxiety. She stayed with him ten days, he sent me pics and videos of the tricks that he showed her but I didnt get a video of how he was addressing the anxiety issue with her. When I got her back she learned some tricks but she still had the anxiety in the same level when I left her 10 days before. I talked to Steve about this. He was understanding and offered more trainig but I still paid a big amount of money hoping she will come like a new dog, like I have read in the reviews but it didn't happened. Like I sa

I have two puppies that went through Lead By Love board and train program. It was the best decision. It really helped to give them a solid foundation for me to continue at home. No more leash pulling and following basic commands. I liked that it was in a home environment and know my pups were treated with love and care. You’ll get updates on progress too. Definitely will use them again for any future new additions.

We were extremely happy with the training that began at Lead By Love Dog Care. I say began because the training continues once home for both ourselves and our dog. Steve did a great job with the basic commands and training videos. He and his wife Mary took great care of our girl for three weeks and we couldn’t be happier. Roscoe had a good experience. Loved the pics and updates while he was away and also that he got to stay in Steve’s home instead of a kennel situation. Roscoe seemed happy and cared for at pick up. Steve also give print outs with tips to keep up the training at home … which I know we can all find info on the internet but the internet has so MUCH info that I never know what to follow so I appreciate having the instructions from Steve.
