We are extremely thankful for the Dr and all the staff at Lawndale Veterinary hospital. Having a dog with a chronic illness, they always take extra good care of our Charlie!!! If you are looking for a place that truly loves your fur babies - then this is the office for you!

Originally came to this vet for our 2 cats a year ago and then recently added our new puppy, Butters. They love Dr. Peters! They always schedule very quickly and close to when you need to get your pet in. A little pricier compared to other vets I have been to in the area, but it’s worth the care they give.

Disappointed with Grooming Experience We’ve been bringing our Bernese Mountain Dog here for over a year for vet care and have always had positive experiences on that side of things. We've also used the bathing and brushing services a few times without issue. However, our recent experience with grooming was unfortunately very disappointing. Before the appointment, we met with the groomer and were very clear that we wanted a trim, not a shave. As anyone familiar with this breed knows, their double coat should be maintained properly, and shaving is not typically recommended. We felt confident going in, but that’s not what happened. We dropped her off at 8:30 AM, and didn’t hear anything until 2:30 PM, when we were told they were just about to begin grooming. It was very concerning to learn

STICKER SHOCK I have brought my senior gal here since 2020 and my puppy since I got him last year. The previous staff was always transparent about pricing and would give you the option to decline non essential services. Imagine my surprise when my total for yearly checkups for two 10 lb dogs was almost $700. While I understand pet care can be expensive, this seems exorbitant. I was expecting roughly $500. I will not be back.

Lawndale continues to provide exemplary medical care to my pets. I have been a client since 1996 and over the years, I know all our animals have been very well cared for. I would recommend them highly!
