Came to my home to get bloodwork on my semi feral dog. The dog had to be sedated because of her intense fear of strangers, and in the process, my terrified dog peed and pooped all over herself, and the whole process was traumatizing for everyone involved. I could've lived with that, knowing that my dog was semi feral, but when weeks had gone by, and I had heard nothing from the vet, I had left several messages regarding the results of the blood work, I finally got a hold of her, and she reluctantly told me that the blood had somehow gotten destroyed in her care, so obviously no results were available. Dr M has been our vet for four species and 9 years. You cannot find vets of her caliber, steely nerves, common sense, and empathy + enthusiasm almost anywhere anymore, let alone her fair and incredibly low costs. She is literally one of the best things to ever happen to us and our menagerie. Day or night, winter storms, spring nor’easters, summer tourist traffic she has always found a way.

Dr. Murdock has been with us since she opened her home veterinary service year one. We are beyond blessed to have her, her calm, funny, loving, and honest demeanor. She is everything you want in a vet: a sharp eye, careful ear, steady hand, warm heart, and honest words. Her home services and safe dentals have literally been lifesavers and her willingness to be available day and night for her clients is something you almost never find in a practitioner anymore for any species.

We were vacationing in the Hillsboro area when our dog had an encounter with 'something' - a bee, a horsefly....we don't know. It was 8pm, we were 60 miles from home, and his face was swelling very quickly. I came across LAVender Vet Services on google, and left Dr. Swanson a message. My first experience with LAVender was okay, even though it took her several weeks of emails and phone calls to get back to me. Post pandemic, I didn’t have many options. My first experience with her was okay. The second experience was awful. She called me 15 min after my scheduled time demanding to know why I wasn’t answering my door… it’s because she was at the wrong house.
