Greatest vet ever in southern Utah hands down.. The love , care , and compassion they show there is absolutely just amazing. I had to have my dog put down and they made it feel joyful and not so sad. When I got his ashes I wasn't expecting much but what they did was amazing. Paw print with a new name tag , a little glass bottle with his fur and a card that they took time to write a sweet message inside. I recommend them 💯 to anyone looking for great vet care and everything else they do. There Angels caring for our little angels. ❤️

So so grateful for Lava Rock Vet Hospital and their incredible staff. My dog got bit by another dog, and I immediately took him to the clinic. I was very stressed, anxious and overwhelmed and the staff were reassuring. All the staff, from the receptionist to the vet tech to the vet were so kind, sympathetic, professional and patient. They were gentle and understanding with my dog when he clearly wasn’t his happiest. They gave me a price quote, gave me options, and then got my dog fixed up quickly! I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for me and my puppy! ❤️

**had to go take my dog to a second vet to get properly cared for** I brought my dog in to be seen for her broken nail and the whole appointment was very impersonal. I didn’t get to go back into a room with my dog, the tech who came to get her didn’t ask me any questions and just told me they’d remove the nail. She brought my dog back out and said the Dr ended up gluing the nail and didn’t give me any instructions on how to care for her or what to watch for. The nail got worse over the next couples of weeks and her quick was damaged. I had to take her to a different vet to get her taken care of properly and they were very confused as to why the vet only used glue on her and said they had never heard of a vet doing that. Have you ever had a pet emergency that had you driving 90 mph to the vet clinic? (Please don't drive like I did) I called this clinic HYSTERICAL because I thought my cat had gotten hit by a car and they had him in the back within seconds of me running inside with him. They were so incredibly wonderful. 10/10 and I've continued to come back here for my other cats. I noticed in almost all of the 1 star reviews for this place, people have lost pets due to not being able to pay for surgery. Please PLEASE please, People, DO NOT get animals that you can't afford to take care of! Im so impressed with this vet and the team. Not only di they treat my pets amazingly but they make me feel heard and just treat me like a human ya know? My cat recently got diagnosed with FIP and they treated her so well and gave me plenty of options to get her healed up. Shoutout to Amber at the front desk, she did everything she could to help me and even followed up to make sure my cat is doing OK.
