Laurens County Humane Society

I reached out to The Laurens County Humane Society in May of 25 after we lost our cat of 14 years. My husband and I had found a little black male cat we were interested in adopting. I filled out the online form and in about a week we were approved. We went in to visit him at the humane society and learned he had a sibling, a sister who was also black. They were both playing together and laying together and that sealed the deal. We adopted both. Black cats are the least adopted due to suspicion. They had to stay at the humane society for around another month. They were still nursing with mom and they needed to have their spay and neuter surgery. But we brought them home june 7th. They were really amazing!!! They took Edgar in right away, did exactly what I asked them too, and gave my lil man the best care possible. Staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. 10 out of 10 would recommend and would volunteer anytime! Really a great place for any dog or cat

adopted my son from here! 2 years ago i adopted my dog (now Elvis, was Fenrir) from here. they made it such an easy awesome process! he was neutered and in great health when i picked him up at 15 weeks. highly recommend and i hope they receive the funds they deserve!
