Lakewood Animal Hospital

My dog was taken to Lakeside for issues relating to her coughing. I had made an appointment and was seen on time. The office staff greeted me and were very kind. The doctor's assistant came out to get us and brought us back to the room to be seen. I was very impressed with the doctor and her willingness and efforts to get a diagnosis. When I received the medication for my dog, the assistant stated that she would call to check up on my pet once the meds were finished. I thought that this was something that they told every customer and would probably not call. To my great surprise and delight, when my pet finished her last pill, the assistant did call! This meant so much to me. I've never had this happen before from any veterinarian's office that I've been to.

Such awesome people there. My girls are 'special' one is friendly the other an overprotective worrier . They did so well with them!! One has to be muzzled because she is overprotective of me. 💚💚

I've taken my pets here over 15 years. They take very good care of them and treat them with lots of love. We lost our furry baby Isis to cancer about 3 yrs ago. It was truly one of the hardest things I've ever been through. Dr. Scott and. Dr. Michelle Richardson are very passionate about their work. They took care of Isis from 8 weeks until she was 8 years. I never cried so much after looseing her and Dr. Scott gave my husband and I as much time as we needed to say goodbye to her. Until this day I still miss her. So when I took Blaze, my New boy last week, they took the same care for him. His diagnostic wasn't what I wanted to hear. Dr. Michelle assured me he can have a long, happy, healthy life. The caring and loving staff make all of our kitties comfortable. They don't charge or recommend unnecessary treatments and even let us know when some treatments actually probably wouldn't work, so they recommended against it! The fur babies' well-being is truly their focus. I can't say enough good things about them. We are SO glad we found them!

This clinic is truly staffed with loving caring people who make not us but our wonderful puppies in our family feel safe and secure when ever we visit. Highly recommend.
