Lake Humane Society

I was originally going to get a dog but they only had Pits. So I was browsing the cats. I e had many in the past. I came across a grey kitty named Hugo, he was huge and not very friendly. I’ve always wanted a grey kitty so I looked around the corner and found “Ducky”. We went in the room to see if we liked each other and it was meant to be. He was very playful and lovey. I took my boy home and he was so affectionate it was like he was thankful I adopted him. A year later and he’s still just as lovey. He sits on my lap and loves being petted, he keeps me calm. He sleeps with me and greets me every morning with soft purrs sand nuzzling. He’s so soft and cuddly. Hence the name Cuddles. Cuddle kitty, Kiki, Kitty Kitty. He’s such a sweet boy. Absolutely the best staff and facility! My son adopted a kitten and brought her home the same day. The experience was outstanding. While I was there I saw the sweetest dog. We took him home a few days later. And now he has 2 sisters (dogs) that love him. Thank you Lake Humane society for everything you do!

Everyone here was super nice and helpful! I love the way they take care of all the animals! Recently my boyfriend and I adopted terra, she is such a great dog. She's loving her new home already!
