Approved application for a meet and greet, but the pet was adopted by someone else before we could get scheduled. I understand more than one application, but the owner didn't have the courtesy to tell us. I found out when the pet's listing was removed from their site. Had she told us, we would have continued to work with her. I no longer trust her, especially after reading many other reviews with similar behavior.

I had the same experience that so many others here describe. I spoke directly with Cheryl about a puppy, and we were discussing setting up a time for me to come out. After that conversation, she completely stopped responding. My calls and texts went unanswered, and I never received any follow-up or explanation. If the puppy was no longer available, a simple message would have been courteous and professional. Instead, I was left ghosted with no communication at all. After reading the volume of similar reviews, it’s disappointing—but not surprising. I won’t be pursuing adoption through this shelter again.

I’m guessing the woman I spoke to today is the same woman that’s been there for yeaaars, because she was every bit as rude as the interactions I had here a decade ago. From the moment she answers the phone, she’s SO rude, cuts you off, doesn’t let you speak, and doesn’t have a single ounce of friendliness or warmth in her voice when speaking to you. Hopefully she treats the animals better than she does people… and hopefully this place isn’t still declawing. I truly don’t get how this place is still in business. STEER CLEAR of this place and do NOT surrender your animals here, because I do not trust that they’re being treated well at all. Shameful behavior from the owner.

No way!!!! That’s why they have a 2.7!!! Cheryl is in capable and totally unqualified and in professional! And Sue just keeps lying for her and making excuses. I recorded a 5 minute call of Cheryl apologizing to another patron for being deficient. Don’t you dare get a dog from these people. She said if I don’t like how I was treated I should volunteer to do better. Very sad.

Terrible customer service. I was send an email for a meet and greet, and before that I was told by Cheryl that the puppy Was available. I called to set up a time on Friday for a meet and greet and was told by Cheryl that she had to check with the foster. She told me she would call me right back on Friday and it is now Tuesday. No updates no nothing. When I spoke to her on Friday, I asked if talking to the foster meant the dog was not available now and she said she would get back with me and never did. I take it that the puppy was sold right out from under me.
