Lake Area Animal Clinic

What a great experience. They are under new management and I can see such positive changes. I am so glad to have taken my pet there and received such quality care. This was a great experience. I’d love to shout out the technicians that helped me and the manager who was so gracious. The doctor was great too!

One of my dogs injured her eye while playing/rough-housing with my other dog. Her eye got better but a week after it started getting better, it got worse. I called Lake Area and they were able to see my dog in the same day. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very helpful, the veterinarians Assistant seemed experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and very capable. The Veterinarian was professional, personal, informative, and very helpful. The Vet said he will also present my dogs "eye status" to a forum of veterinary ophthalmologist for specialty feedback. The Vet prescribed three medications, and while my dog is still getting better, she did show signiffican improvement within 12 hours of our visit. We had a hurt dog and are from out of town. Bucannan lake animal clinic was awesome! The took him right away and were able to make him feel so much better. They are all very professional and kind. Thank you so much!!!

The practice manager has no knowledge on being a practice manager. Pretty sure they promoted/hired anyone they could at this point. Lake Area used to be a great but too many turn overs. 1/10

We brought in our newly adopted kitten for his first checkup. Dr Culpepper and staff are amazing! Very attentive. Very thorough.
