Kuckers Point Kennels

I am writing this review in reference to the Kucker’s Point Kennels upland bird dog training program. John and AmyJo had my German Shorthair for three months, which was a hard thing for my wife and me to do. John was an apprentice in the Ronnie Smith training method (silent command system) and is a certified Advance Level Trainer. Our GSP had just turned a year old, when she started the program. When we got her back, she spent a week at home and then we traveled to Montana. We hunted her for 10 days for Sharp-tail grouse and Hungarian Partridge. Then I hunted Grouse and Woodcock in Northern Michigan. During this time there have not been any issues with her behavior or responding to commands. Left my dog with them for a weekend trip that lasted a little longer due to weather. They had no problems at all looking after him. Very nice people, definitely will be taking my boy back in the future!

Our dogs came home happy and healthy from boarding. Very reasonably priced and incredibly accommodating to our schedule/needs. Will definitely board with them again!

We recently had our corgis at AmyJo and Johnny's and they took excellent care of them. We don't like to leave them and usually have them home, but they were loved and taken care of just like they were home.

We feel so fortunate to have found Kuckers'!! Our dog has stayed with them many times and they take care of her like she is their own!! They have sent us pictures of our dog out in their beautiful grassy open area enjoying time away from her crate . This made my heart happy to know she is getting some exercise! The crate that she was in is also a nice size that she can move around in and at the same time a fresh breeze comes through the unique setup of their kennel.
