My wife and I are over 60 years old and through our lifetime we’ve had nearly 8 German shepherds. I train them for obedience and rally as a hobby. But without a doubt our new puppy from Kolenda Kennels has been the best German Shepherd puppy we can remember. We believe much of the credit has to do with how the puppy was raised and cared for in the early stages. Susan was extremely informative and took our very specifications seriously (color, temperament, size, etc.). Never did she try to sell us a dog. The kennels were organized and clean. Our hope is we raise this pup to be a therapy dog (to replace the GSD who recently passed) for the local hospital we both work for. I just purchased my third Shepard from Susan. They are the best!! Amazing temperament to go with outstanding beauty and bloodlines. I can take them anywhere! In fact at a street fair someone’s unruly chihuahua made a break for my 120lb Judge(chillin on the couch in photo)You could actually hear people gasp 🤣 But zero reaction from my boy- completely dependable. Waited for me to trap that lil monster as it bit his leg. This is how German Shepards are meant to be! Totally recommend a Kolenda Kennels puppy.

We are so thankful we found Kolenda Kennels Shepherds as we searched for a puppy. Susan & John were wonderful to work with and so helpful in finding us the perfect new family member. These dogs are such high quality. We are already amazed by the temperament, and intelligence of our little girl. All of the puppies we got to meet were gorgeous! I looked for good credible breeder for a while to surprise my kids. When I did my research on John and Susan they could and can back everthing up they claim about their western show dogs. She is beyond perfect. She is extremely beautiful,loyal, protective. Smart. They worked with me and no other breeder would and my family couldn't be happier.
