Kokopelli Animal Hospital: Lastine Carmen L DVM

We had taken our dog, Spirit, to another vet but when surgery was needed the price was extreme so we started looking around for another vet. We called Kokopelli Animal Hospital. Talking to their staff on the phone, who were both knowable and courteous, we made an appointment for Spirit to be seen. When Spirit, a thirteen year old Husky, was seen she was given a thorough exam and we were told what she needed. After just two weeks Spirit is doing much better with the sparkle back in her blue eyes. I won't take Spirit to any other vet from now on. Our cat, Hey Cat, will also be cared for by Kokopelli Animal Hospital. They even took time to show us the back where their patients are treated from the holding cages to where all surgery is done. I am still shocked & amazed at how fast they were able to get Pirate in for an appointment, upon arrival we had very little wait time to see Dr. Lastine. The quality of the care along with the reasonable cost is amazing! I wish we would have came here before.

Both doctors Bechtel and Lastine are wonderful. Their love for animals is obvious. The entire staff is terrific. They always remember my husband and myself and our dog Gypsy when ever we call. The staff has remained consistent in the 5 years we have been there. I think that says a lot about any business when they keep employees a long time and they all seem happy. Great people!

I went to Kokopelli Animal Hospital after seeing two other vets in Fruita who were unable to diagnose and treat our cat. The service I received at Kokopelli was nothing but outstanding. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by Tabitha and my experience just got better and better. Dr. Lastine was so thorough and really provided the best care possible for my cat. I am so happy and pleased I found this place. They have completely restored my faith that my sick cat can finally recover from an illness that she has been fighting for nearly two months. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Dr. Bechtel and staff are the friendliest, most caring, most helpful and most understanding team we've worked with. They treat our pets with love. This visit was teeth cleaning, a first for my girl who is now 5 years old. I was kept informed and she was sent home when she was ready. We appreciate this clinic and recommend it to all.
