Tony came to us to help with aggression my Basset Hound was recently having. As a back story, he is a product of inbreeding, resulting in an anomaly of his jaws. Our trusted vet, after a lot of testing, said he most likely had high anxiety due to the inbreeding. We started him on anxiety meds but after 2 months some of the aggression was still there. Tony came to us ONCE. ONE time. He assessed my dog, watched him and listened to us. ONE time. He was able to understand what my Basset’s triggers were and how best for us to help him. We followed his instructions and my dog’s anxiety level was cut 90%. It is amazing how he was able to understand my Basset’s actions and reactions. This was not like a normal “trainer” that tells you what you’re able to look up on the internet. He watched him int

Life-changing experience for our family! I called Tony of Knucklehead K9, and he was able to do an in-home session that very day. Our 3-yr-old border collie mix, Willy, has always had a severe crazed reaction to the mere presence of our dishwasher, and we have had to lock him outside while opening/shutting the dishwasher door. This behavior was getting worse. I tried to remedy it by myself several times, but nothing worked. Finally, I called a pro, and BOOM! Problem solved in one-session! Everyone who knows Willy is amazed at his turnaround. Tony was able to figure out what the dog was feeling and help us find a way to redirect him which involves consequences and positive reinforcement. We are so grateful! Wish we would’ve done it three years sooner! Tony knows his stuff!

We've had multiple wonderful dogs for many years to include German Shepherds, a Rottweiler, mixed Husky/St Bernard/Rottweiler and others. Our new (now 1 yr old) German Shepherd male has tested us to extreme limits to the point where a professional was essential in order to keep our male. Tony's first visit opened our eyes and gave us tools to correct unwanted behaviors. Naturally our male is still a work in progress, but the stride made during Tony's first session was so significant we are very much looking forward to more training. We can't thank Tony enough!

I asked for recommendations for dog trainers on Nextdoor, and Knuckleheads K-9 was recommended multiple times. I have 165 lb Great Dane/ Bullmastiff that I stopped walking after he pulled me on my face in his excitement to see another dog. Tony provided me training and tools to manage his walks in one session. By the end of our session, we were walking together, and my dog fully ignored another barking dog. I was so proud of him. I gained back my confidence to control him on leash, and he is getting his beloved walks again. Thank you for making our relationship better!

Excellent trainer. Worked to solve my specific problem immediately. Within the first hour of meeting the dog, he successfully stopped the aggressive behavior. This dog was being considered for euthanasia due to aggression just 6 months ago. She safely attended Dog Fest and received pets and treats from strangers in a friendly manner. Can't thank Tony enough for saving her life.
