Kitten Rescue

Kitten Rescue is so lovely! My partner and I were able to adopt two cats from here (2023 & 2024). It was a smooth process and they really make sure the cats go to a good home. The price was fair for each cat and they are really taken care of, given a raw diet, vet care and spacious area. They also give you a really nice care package with food and litter after you adopt! Kelly was really kind and helpful whenever we had questions about our cats! I highly recommend adopting from here!

If you are looking for a pet in a timely manner, I suggest you look elsewhere. Just about two weeks ago I submitted an application for a kitten. I had to reach out twice because I had been given no response whatsoever to my application. Finally, this past Friday the foster caretaker reached out to me and told me that she would rather not have me adopt the kitten that I was interested in because she would rather place the kitten in a home with other pets. It literally said on the profile of the kitten that I was interested in that she was good with other pets as well as by herself. So, when I have the foster responding to me after two weeks, telling me she would rather put the kitten in a home with other pets that kind of did not coincide with the information that was on the profile stating

I adopted from Kitten Rescue and wish I could do it all again! The Women who run this shelter care so deeply about each and every cat that comes into their care. They educated me on all aspects of cat care, allowed me space to find the pair that were right for me, and have been there for me and the cats every step of the way. I feel supported by them even post-adoption and truly admire the dedication they have for the life-long well being of the cats that come through this Rescue. If you are considering getting one cat, may I suggest two! I was wary at first but getting to witness the love and joy my bonded pair of kittens bring each other every day has been so special to witness and gives them a much more fulfilling life! I volunteered for Kitten Rescue many years ago, then I had to take a break to help care for my elderly father. Signed up again because I am always finding cats and kittens in need. Kitten Rescue helps so many cats, and all the volunteers are such wonderful people.

Beautiful cat sanctuary and organization! We had lots of fun meeting the sweet residents and holding tiny bottle-feed kittens at an event.
