King K9 Academy

We couldn’t be happier with the transformation of our pup Cooper! He spent 3 weeks in a board and train program and came home a calm and obedient little guy! We couldn’t believe how much he improved and how well he listens to commands. We just got a 2nd puppy and one of the first things we did was set her up for puppy training with King K9 Academy. Joshua has such a calm temperament and beautiful property and we felt very comfortable with our beloved dog in his care. Can’t recommend enough!

Josh (King K9 Academy) is amazing! He tailored Brick's (1yo Rottweiler) training to accomodate my schedule and specific needs/goals. We participated in a 6 week e-collar training. Brick was a good dog that now really thrives in our family thanks to Josh's training and guidance. Josh listened to the needs and goals I wanted to work on such as managing Brick in public around people/other animals and accommodated by having a training session in the community. Josh has an exceptional ability to listen, observe, address, and gently point out both the owners and dogs behavior for successful outcomes. I would highly recommended King K9 Academy!

We had an outstanding experience with Joshua and couldn’t be happier with our dog Wilbur’s training. Wilbur completed a 3 week board and train program with King K9 Academy and the results have been truly impressive. Since coming home, Wilbur has been able to maintain focus and control in high distraction environments (something he really struggled with prior to training). I adopted a 5 month old golden retriever, Poppy, who was so people/dog obsessed that she had absolutely no impulse control and would take off in the direction of anyone she saw and completely ignore calls to come back. We do a lot of off leash hiking with our older dog and wanted to be able to bring Poppy along with us and have confidence that she would be able to listen and respond to us. Reliable recall achieved! My 2yo American Bully (Sig) already had basic obedience, but I was struggling with consistent recall. During my free consultation with Joshua, he proposed a training plan that was tailored to Sig's needs and breed. Unlike the other trainers I reached out to, our unique situation was taken into account and the results speak for themselves. Sig can now enjoy the freedom of being off leash and I am able to relax outside while my dogs play. As a bonus, thanks to some tips, we also now have loose leash walking!
