Keys Animal ER at Cruz Animal Hospital

It was New Years eve and at 4:30 in the afternoon my family and I were fishing off the canal. I had just waited my hook with a shrimp and for 1/2 second turned to wipe my fingers when my lab grabbed the hook. I grabbed the line hoping to yank it out, unfortunately( but glad he didn't swallow it) it stuck into the back of his tongue. I started calling every vet locally. I was about to give up and call 911 due to everyone being closed for the holiday. We were so blessed to have Mel at Keys Animal hospital answer. She said to bring him on down. Dr. Joseph Carloni had him X rayed immediately. Showed me where the hook was and said he'd be ready in about an hour. 40 minutes later, the hook was out and we were on our way home. Wow. What a great animal hospital. Our 3year old yellow lab ingested a fishing hook. Definitely my fault , however we took her to the Keys Animal Er. They did X-rays and located the hook. Induced vomiting bringing the hook out. Dr Ryan and the staff are the best. Many Thanks

We had a scare with our cat. We took him to Cruz, and it was a great decision. Everyone at Cruz is so nice. They treated our cat so well. He was diagnosed, treated, and we have had several follow up visits. Cannot say enough good things about the staff there. Our "Vet away from home". Thank you, Cruz Animal Hospital!

I have only good things to say about the Doctors and staff. They are taking care of our baby Milo and doing everything to make him better. We are so thankful for this place and recommend it for all your pets needs. They love what they do and love animals as much as we do.
