Kennels in the Country

Well, they would’ve received 4-5 stars. However, after using them for multiple years (including last week), we were told yesterday that they are raising their prices from $25 to $45. I know prices always go up, but that’s almost double! We will be finding another place to take our dog.

My dog Bear had a wonderful experience being bathed and groomed. Definitely recommend this kennel. Friendly people. Nice & clean facilities. Check it out!

My golden doodle had a great stay for 11 days with Kennels in the Country. At check in, we were able to get detailed information and discuss the best plan for taking care of our pup. I loved that we were able to call and get updates daily on her stay. She is very active and loved the outdoor time! They also took time to teach her how to use a puppy door. We were very thankful to have a safe place for our pup to stay while we were away. Compared to other places we have boarder our pup, we loved the small family feel to this place. My wife and I boarded our dog with this place a week ago. We normally use our dogs vet but this one time we decided to use a closer kennel with a “better” price point. When arriving to drop my dog off I was surprised to find out that for quality care for my dog was an up charge for anything you could think of. Example let him out in a fenced in yard. A fee was required for each day. During my dogs stay he was injured. No one know what had happened to him. They told us he must have hurt him self going into his kennel. We had him picked up. They wrapped his foot so tightly it caused major swelling and discomfort for him. We had our dog vetted to find he had lost 10 lbs during his stay. Now paying for that on top of his boarding. Needless to say I do not care for this kennel and my dog will n

We boarded the doggies for the week of Thanksgiving. Never have used a boarding service but have always noticed this one on my drives. Couldn't have been happier. The dogs loved it and were very happy when we picked them up. Will definitely recommend and use them again!
