Warning: Do do not purchase a German Shepherd from Kent Boyles. In August 2024 I purchased a German Shepherd from him with explicit promises of AKC registration paperwork to follow. Despite multiple attempts to contact him, he has completely ignored all communication and failed to deliver the promised documentation. His professional facade as a reputable breeder, Dog trainer and boarding facility owner is nothing but a deceptive front that masks deeply unprofessional business practices. Potential buyers deserve to know the truth before trusted him with their money and the emotional investment of bringing home a new pet.

KenLyn are the best out there!!! How do I know? I am fortunate to have one!!! My Champion German Shepherd Dog has exceeded ALL expectations!!! He is Gorgeous, has a high drive to work and loves life!!! I just can not Thank Kent and Liz enough for trusting me with such a precious gem!!! Mr. Boyles of Kenlyn kennels has had a live for the German Shepard breed since he was a young man ! His win at Westminster with Rumor was a result of lifelong love and attention he has held to a high standard for many years.

Breeder has yet to supply me with paperwork from the adoption and the dog was purchased in November of 2017. After picking up the dog, he went to the vet and was diagnosed as being dehydrated and having allergies. He would not stop scratching. When picking him up, he was crated in a small crate under a large bench inside a freezing cold barn. I'm not sure if this was his established living situation but it was not the best conditions. If this is how the breeder wants to run his business, then he needs to follow-through on paperwork and contracts. I have not heard from the breeder since I asked about paperwork and a health contract, which was all agreed upon prior to picking up the dog. The next step is contacting the Wisconsin authorities that handle complaints against businesses.
