Kendall County Animal Shelter

This Sunday will mark ONE WHOLE YEAR, with my best friend Oakley (aka Zelda.) When I first went into the shelter I had my eyes on another doggo, but the second I saw the little pup with the SWEETEST eyes, I knew I had to adopt her. Oakley (aka Zelda) was the shelter’s favorite girl! Now I know why.. she is the SPUNKIEST, MOST SPOILED, BOUJIEST girl I’ve ever met! She knows she gets a new toy or treat anytime we leave the house, so she goes straight for the shopping bags as soon as we get home! She’s so boujie she will not drink tap water, and will only drink if I give her bottled water! I’m so thankful for Kendall County Animal Shelter for blessing me with my BESTEST friend ever. My Oakley girl.

I went to the Kendall County Animal Shelter for the first time today to bring a food and blanket donation. The two staff members were so incredibly kind and informative. The work they are doing to provide care to animals in need is amazing!

They have a Clea facility with great staff. Very knowledgeable and caring for the animals. Adopt these sweet pups!

I went to just see what puppies they had and came home with a beautiful girl...there facility is really bright and clean...the kennel techs were really nice...Kendall was a big help thanks for my puppy

I have never in my life left a review lower than a 5 but I need to share my experience. I got a call on Friday from the shelter (she didn’t tell me who she was, i thought it was the vet clinic until I asked) that they heard I called the day before for reschedule my puppys spay appointment and I said yes ma’am we went on vacation last minute. She then tells me that they will be attempting to press charges and I will get a misdemeanor for doing so. I was so very confused and surprised because I only called to reschedule and was going to reschedule. When I first got our puppy we were told have was 6 months old and her spay appointment was the next day. So I took her the next day for her appointment. I got there and the vet clinic told me she didn’t have an appointment and I was completely und
