Kat, Brooklyn, Ari and Jade are four amazing humans, and Kat’s Professional Grooming is the absolute BEST! When we moved to Holden Beach In February of ‘23, I inquired about dog groomers and was told that KPG was the BEST by numerous friends we met! They were certainly right! I cannot say enough good things about KPG. I have two dogs, one a Labradoodle and a Yorkie who both require regular grooming. The Yorkie is not the easiest dog to groom, but Kat shows unending patience and love when grooming him, and he always looks fabulous! The Doodle probably isn’t the “best dog”(!!) during my grooming either, but Brooklyn and Ari also have that “magic touch” and she LOVES them and also looks wonderful after grooming! Kat is absolutely wonderful! She’s kind, understanding, and always takes the time to listen to us. She’s transparent about everything and genuinely cares that we’re happy with her services. Our 4 lb Yorkie, Braxton, is a bit of a “Nervous Nancy” when it comes to staying with anyone but us—but we feel completely comfortable leaving him with Kat and her amazing staff. They love on him just like we do!

My pup always comes home looking and smelling amazing, and most importantly, happy and relaxed. Their attention to detail and kindness set them apart from other places we’ve tried. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this grooming salon! When I moved here, I brought my older dog to them, and I was always so happy with her cuts. She smelled amazing, her fur was incredibly soft, and, most importantly, she always came out happy and relaxed—not stressed at all. Now, I have a younger puppy, Emma, and this is her second time visiting for grooming. The team has been absolutely exceptional every single time. On our first visit, Emma had some matting that I didn’t even realize. They took the time to explain proper brushes and products to use, which was so helpful.
