Kamp K-9

We would like to give a huge shout out and appreciation to Kamp K9. From our initial contact with Rhiannon, we were immediately put at ease and excited. We adopted a dog on Christmas, and within a week, we had him enrolled in the one-on-one boot camp 4-week training program. It is difficult to say who enjoyed the experience more, myself or my dog. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind and consistently demonstrated a positive demeanor, which is understandable given they are around adorable dogs all day. Rhiannon's work with Marshal was outstanding; she provided us clear and precise instructions. We particularly valued the personalized one-on-one training sessions and the daily video updates on his progress.

Kamp K-9 is a wonderful place to send your dog! Their motto is "There's some place like home". My Rosie agrees and is featured here in her Halloween costume "My home away from home". It is so true... When we got our energetic, chewing, crazy puppy 4 years ago, we knew we needed help. From the beginning, our experiences at Kamp K-9 have been positive and supportive. Nofo, a trainer with a wide variety of knowledge and experiences, can show tough love and true love for a dog at the same time. Rosie has always listened to, respected, and loved Nofo. Nofo continues to teach us new tricks to support our still energetic dog. He also gets to know all the pups and their families, and truly makes Kamp home with a lot of creative doggy fun! We have used KampK9 for boarding, day kamp, and one on one trainings for our dogs. They are truly fantastic! KampK9 takes the highest level of care in how they build their programs and ensure a positive and safe environment. The team is the absolute best! The one on one training was impactful for my huskey/pit mix who has high drive and is too smart. There was an improvement in his behavior and on leash walking within our first two sessions. Most importantly, they gave me the tools and confidence to ensure we continue our training at home, everyday. Excellent value for the money! KampK9 is the premier space for dogs in the greater Chicago area! Highly recommend!

The entire staff at Kamp K-9 is amazing. Our standard poodle Sebastian loves coming here for his doggy day care and has so much fun, that he comes home completely worn out for the evening after a day playing with his friends. Rhiannon, Katherine and Nofo, the trainers have taught both Sebastian, and our family, including our young daughters how to really enjoy our lives together. Gina and the grooming staff keep our boy looking great, understanding the grooming demands of poodle hair for any of the services we've had performed. Highly recommend Kamp K-9 for your pups needs.

Only come here if you want your dog to feel truly at home and cared for — we’ve absolutely loved our experience at Kamp K9. From boarding and training (this was vital!) to daycare and grooming, this is the place to go if you want your pup to be well looked after. The staff are so friendly, and it’s honestly Murray’s favorite place to be (aside from home — though even that might be up for debate!). They’re always hosting fun events and activities for the dogs, and their social media updates and photo shoots are the best. Thank you for everything, Kamp K9!
