Kalan Kennels

They were very good with my dog. When we left, my dog turned back to say goodbye to the employees and I could tell all 4 employees that I met had bonded with my dog during her three day stay. I've already booked her next visit; this time will be a week.

There is a span of a decade between times I needed to board my dogs, so I did a surprise visit. I was very impressed the kennels were clean, water buckets in each kennel was fresh and full, and the dogs were all relaxed. They board cats too.

Excellent people. Very accommodating and friendly. The facility unfortunately does not allow walking or running. The puppers stay caged. They do love on them though. My dog got pink eye though. Raw scraped skin around his snoot. Couldn’t even boop.

HORRIBLE, let me start from the begging. My dog has a special diet and they said with full confidence that they can handle that (I even wrote instructions). I ask that they please call me if they are having any trouble or if he is not eating or feeling good. 2 Days pass and I haven’t heard from them, so I thought all was well. I decided to call anyways to see how he’s doing, when talking to them I was told he didn’t eat the first day but he ate the next (which I understand being it’s a new environment). 3 Days later I picked him up, when getting my dog back he smelled like sh*t and throw up. I'm not downing people's complaints but when dogs are around other dogs they don't know they are going to bark. I have been working at kalan kennels since 2010 we never tell the dogs to shut up. These dogs are treated with the utmost love and care. I have seen dogs blossom and come out of their shells working here like China Amelia Dudley when they first came here they were just adopted from shelter and we're so timid and scared now they come in wagging there tails and are so excited to come here.
