I took my Newfoundland to Stonehill for boarding and training when she was 1yo. She wouldn’t come when I called her, barked, and she pulled my arm off when I walked her. Clover stayed at Stonehill for about 8 weeks and Corey worked with her daily. He taught her to heel, walk in a loose leash without pulling, to sit, stay, go to her place and best manners for dogs - no jumping, social training with other dogs and people among other things. Clover came back a perfectly trained and well-behaved dog, which was important to me given she grew to be a 155-lb beautiful girl. Clover is 9 now and none of that training ever went away. Corey taught me how to continue reinforcing her training at home. I can take her anywhere and not worry about bad behavior and she never pulls on the leash. Everywh

We also had a phenomenal experience at K9One with our English Cocker Spaniel, Betty. Betty was young and all puppy at the time we took her, biting and chewing and barking, out of control in a way that interfered with our developing a good relationship with her. She spent 6 weeks at K9One, being trained by Cassidy (who is superb), and she developed into the sweetest little girl. She didn't really lose those special endearing puppy qualities, she just learned some self control and, most imoprtantly, developed terrific recall. I strongly recommend K9One. As the smartest of dog people say, training a dog is all about training the owner, and we learned so much through this process.

I can't say enough great things about Stone Hill Kennel and especially our trainer, CJ. My 1½-year-old Cane Corso, Joanna, recently completed her service dog training there, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, CJ showed a deep understanding of both the breed and the unique needs of service dog work. Joanna went into training with a strong personality, but CJ’s calm, consistent, and expert approach brought out her focus, obedience, and confidence. The true test came recently when we flew internationally to Spain. Joanna handled the entire travel process airports, flights, crowds, and new environments with the same discipline and poise CJ taught her. She followed her commands perfectly and provided the support I needed throughout the trip. I rec

We had an outstanding experience at Stonehill Kennel in Connecticut with our two German Shepherds. Our first GSD was a rambunctious puppy who responded wonderfully to their training program. We got excellent value from his stay at band camp and in follow up. Tragically, we later lost him in an accident, which broke our hearts. About a year later, we adopted a working dog returning from a tour of duty over seas—our thoroughly modern Major Marine. He struggled to adapt to civilian life, but Stonehill was all over it. They stayed on the case until everything was brought to heel, and he's been a beloved part of our family for the past 6 years. We are forever grateful for their exceptional care, training, and dedication.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this canine training school and their incredible trainers. Our Sheepadoodle, Lola, began training with them as a puppy, and now—3.5 years later—she still maintains the strong obedience foundation they helped build. The difference their training has made in Lola’s behavior, confidence, and responsiveness has been remarkable. What truly sets this school apart is the passion and care the trainers have for the dogs they work with. You can immediately tell that they genuinely love their lives working with these majestic animals. Their knowledge, patience, and dedication create an environment where both dogs and owners feel supported and successful. Beyond obedience training, they went above and beyond to work with our family on seizure-response behav
