K9 Comfort

We started taking our boy Scooby for boarding. We then took him for the 2 week training course. Scooby wasn’t naughty by any means, however he needed to learn some manners and confidence. I was a little hesitant to leave him for 2 whole weeks. I was also hesitant to leave his discipline and training in someone else’s hands. He’s like my child haha- I also was worried about what if we pay all this money and it doesn’t work, let me say all those worries and thoughts disappeared as I watched his updates. WOW! What a difference it made in him. He no longer drags us when he’s leashed, he doesn’t run for the door every time it’s opened, he is able to be with us without being so rambunctious in the house. Scooby is a big, strong boy, having him run in our house was horrible, not to mention danger

A few years ago or it could have been shortly before that we had contacted this kennel place to board our two dogs at they came recommended by or veterinarian. When we got asked what kind of dog they immediately turned us away because we had a husky and he would have been a potential escape artist. Their words not mine. Now as far as other dog breeds I have heard great things but if you are going to own a dog boarding place you better be prepared for all breeds. If I could give the 2.5 stars I would. The only reason why I’m writing this review now is because I forgot and they came recommended again. When I noticed it was the same online and same owners I knew nothing changed.

I have a cavapoo, Juniper who is a sweet smart little girl. I had her at daycare, and they worked with her training the basics. It didn't work for her. Daycare made her very anxious, and the training was not the right format for her. I went researching places. I found K9 comfort, they are about 90 minutes from me, but so totally worth the drive. I was concerned because she is afraid of men. Jason recognized it and knew what to do. He spent 2 hours with Juni, my parents and myself. Going over his training, and observing Juni. He wanted to make sure he could help her, so as to not to waste our time and money. By the end of the 2 hours I had learned a lot of what I needed to change and do, and Juni was now listening and learning from Jason. She spent 2 weeks with Jason, Carrie and the boys. S

We love K-9 Comfort. Our yellow lab was trained by Jason in 2023 and we have boarded with the ever since, even though it’s a two drive from our house. They’re the best! We also get our antlers and joint supplements from them!

Bear loves it here and so do mom and dad! It's a safe, clean, fun and loving environment! We love when he stays because we get so many updates. 10/10 recommend!! We wouldn't send our fur baby anywhere else.
