We completed the 8-week board and training course for our dog Odin to address his dominance and aggression towards people. We are incredibly grateful to Taylor and Nino for their patience with him and his behavior. He is now muzzle trained and does wonderfully with our two sons, aged 4 and 1. He no longer feels the need to growl or attack people who come near him. Odin has gained more confidence around other dogs and humans, allowing him to join us at larger gatherings and even accompany us to work for our business. I cannot believe the change in my dig, Ethel, since her stay at K9 International. She was a rescue, very loving, but very reactive, and really hard to train. I brought her to K9 International because I needed a long term boarding place while I recovered from surgery. Before K9, Ethel barked at everyone walking by our home, everyone walking inside our home, except me, pulled constantly on walks, was afraid of strangers and other dogs, and our cat. She lacked confidence and was anxious. Ethel now tolerates our cat (mostly,) rarely barks, walks nicely, and is so confident that we were able to walk with a new neighbor and her dog, and when that dog (a huge poodle mix dog- very friendly) got a little too close, Ethel gave him a single bark to assert her personal space. We took our 4 month old German Shepherd to K9 Academy International for basic boarding training. The trainers were fantastic, friendly, easy to work with and the results were amazing. Our dog is very attentive to us, she responds well to all of her commands. I walk her off leash 3 times a day without worry of her running off, misbehaving or reacting inappropriately to people or other dogs. She gets so many compliments from our neighbors and random people who engage her. They are amazed by her behavior as a young puppy. I wholeheartedly recommend K9 Academy International to anyone who wants their dog to be well behaved and responsive to your commands. You won’t regret it.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else, they are the absolute BEST! I’ve had all 3 of my dogs trained here by Taylor and Nino and I trust them implicitly. They are so knowledgeable and experienced and completely understand dogs and dog training. Not to mention, my 2 GSD’s came from here. I love the ability to do all day daycare without having to board them. However when it’s necessary to board, I feel comfortable and at ease that they will all be taken care of…including my Rhodesian Ridgeback Princess. I wouldn’t look anywhere else other than K9 Academy International when looking for dog training, boarding and/or daycare. Thank you for all you have done for our dog family!
