Joyful Acres

UPDATE: Sydney from joyful acres called me back Saturday morning and apologized for the delay and explained the marks. As I thought it was the dog pressed her face up against the chain link fence and that's fine. I just wish we were made aware when we called. She said that she got a bath Sunday morning but they believe she got back into her stinky bed/blanket before they were able to pull them to be washed. They said would comp for the next bath when/if we come back and put a note in her chart that she would need a panel for her area to prevent further marks from the fence. I updated my 2 star rating to 3 stars. We just rescued a dog two months ago and we left her with Joyful Acres for a week while we went on vacation. I called every other day and they kept stating that "she's great" and

We leave our dogs at Joyful Acres every time we go on vacation. They are so sweet and easy to deal with. They always try to accommodate me if I need to add extra days or pick up earlier. I have so much trust in Joyful Acres and I’m so grateful to have this option for our pup!!

I love the place. Very nice staff. My dog gets anxious in group settings, and so this place is perfect for him. Joyful Acres is 100 mi from my place, but i still make the trip every time my dog needs boarding.

Had my adult Siberian Husky, Cascade, stay at joyful acres on two separate occasions this winter, great experience, they took Cascade on a trail walk to visit the farm animals. Very happy with the service, great prices- will go back

We can't say enough good things about Joyful Acres! We recently left our Great Dane, Angus, in their care for a week while we were on vacation. Angus has shown signs of anxiety in the past, which has made us hesitant to leave him anywhere. But from the moment we arrived, it was clear he was in great hands. The team at Joyful Acres was warm, attentive, and clearly experienced with larger breeds. They took the time to get to know Angus and make him feel comfortable. It was such a relief to know he was not only being well taken care of, but also genuinely cared for. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing Angus was safe, happy, and in an stress-free environment.
