JoJo’s Flying Friends

I bought my granddaughter bird from JoJo's.the owner and staff are very friendly, trustworthy, and very helping with knowledge and information I needed to know. Getting the right supplies food treats and more. I appreciate the time they took to help me for we could pick out the right things to go home with our little friend. Thanks again JoJo's you guys feel like family great job and we'll see you again soon.

I took my cockatiel here to get her beak, wings, and nails trimmed. I previously went to tropical bird and fish but last time I picked up my bird she had blood on her wings. No effort was made to mention or clean her up. He said sometimes that just happens. After changing ownership and firing our favorite girl, Lauren, I was not satisfied. I decided to try Jojos and will be going here from now on. Not only was I pleased to hear that Lauren has moved here, but the birds were all happy and well taken care of. The cages were super clean. The store was super clean and organized. The trimmings took a matter of minutes. Im so happy I went here and will stick w them in the future. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. So others can see and truly know what goes on in that place. I put my name down for a new litter of green, hand-tamed, parakeets. I never received a call saying they would be ready to take home, I had to call myself. When I showed up to buy my bird, the shop was completely closed, a bit frustrating considering I drove an hour to get there. She explained that she had some personal things going on and couldn't get ahold of her other staff. Totally understandable, life happens. I came back later to get my bird and I was given a free pound of seed for my inconvenience. Walked in thinking we were going to check it out. See if a bird would fit with our family. I knew what kind of bird I would gravitate towards but was pretty open. Immediately my boys found a cage with two cockatiels in it. One was extremely interested in them and was so interactive and was obviously taken well care of since hatching. Well, we have a bird now. He/she has been a great new addition to our family. We have no other pets so our bird has been getting a lot of attention but to our surprise Nova (our cockatiel) has adjusted quickly. Within a day he was hanging out on us and within 48 hours he was requesting to be let out to be with us. We couldn’t be happier. It’s obvious the care that these birds receive. We cannot thank you enough!

We love Jojo’s flying friends! The owners are always nice and very knowledgeable about the birds they are rehoming. We have four birds from Jojo’s flying friends and will continue to keep going there. For anyone that is new to birds, go in and visit the birds. The owners will let you hold the birds so that you will get comfortable holding one and the bird will learn to step up and not try to fly away from you.
