Matt is an amazing dog trainer! He helped me to train my 9-year-old Spanish Waterdog, Shadow. Before working with Matt, I couldn't walk her down the street without her overreacting to other dogs. One of the best decisions we made regarding our fur baby was calling Matt of Jersey Shore Dogs. We are wedding photographers and while shooting a wedding one day, we noticed how incredibly well-behaved our bride's dog was. She said Matt had a big part in that and if we were ever to get a dog to call him right away. About 8 months later, we adopted our Gemma and contacted Matt. Welcoming a rescue dog into your home is a journey that can be as challenging as it is rewarding, especially when that pup comes with a load of anxieties. Our dog was nervous and quick to let fear turn into aggression, especially when faced with strangers or and other dogs on our neighborhood walks. Matt is just great! We had taken our dog to one of those group puppy training, it wasn’t enough and we didn’t know what to do. We got in touch with Matt. He came and worked with our dogs and we saw results very soon after! Our dog really responds well to Matt’s positive reinforcement. Our dog is motivated and excited, something he was not with the other training he had previously. Whenever we have questions about something, we always email Matt and ask for his advice.
