Dr. Owens and his team are wonderful! Our dog is not easy to handle, so we really appreciate the calm, welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Owens listens to my ideas and explains his thought process and suggestions for treatment. It is a top-quality veterinary practice!

Had to help my Gracie Blue across the Rainbow Bridge Dec 8th 2025. The ladies on the phone were horrible I had used this vet for over 30 yrs not wanting to go somewhere else for the procedure. I was told to just take her somewhere else for like a little less money and then was hung up on.. think about it first. Was not the vet himself but his Frontline. I used Dr Owen's like I said a long long time to be hung up on and told to go elsewhere. So I did. Again think about it. I went elsewhere and would recommend everyone do the same. They dont really care ladies are rude

Dr. Owens is a very kind hearted Dr. His bed side manner is amazing. The staff are amazing. As always helpful. Making me giggle alot. They treat my dogs like it's there own.

He is extremely knowledgeable and personable and he always puts forth every bit of his ability to look for the cause of the problem. He diagnosed our Boston Terrier as having not only diabetes, but another underlying condition which enabled finding a tumor pressing her heart when we took her to UF Animal Hospital (they have all the equipment to run in-depth Ultrasounds). We highly recommend him at Owens Animal Hospital!

Dr. Owens is a veterinarian deeply committed to his profession. He is always attentive to every detail related to our pets' health. He doesn't settle for a simple explanation; he cares deeply for us to understand the condition and care (present and future) of our pets. I am personally very grateful to Dr. Owens and his exceptional team for their attention and care of my dog, Bay.
