James Valley Veterinary Clinic

This is my current veterinarian for my cats. They are basically within walking distance from my house and they care a lot for the welfare of your pet. I generally go in there for vaccinations for my pets and also to purchase products such as Royal canin cat food that helps my cat's digestive system. It's pricey at $85 a bag for 7 lb, however it is twice the price on Amazon. So I think I'll just keep buying it from my veterinarian and I wouldn't even have to wait for shipping time. If you decide to make this veterinary clinic your own, they are closed on Wednesdays FYI. So you better hope that something doesn't happen to one of your pets on a Wednesday when it actually needs to be seen by Dr Porter.

Best Vet ever! My sweet baby had horrible sneezing and wheezing fits and in one visit and a couple of very reasonable prices my cat baby is already doing better.

I've had very little contact with the veterinarian themselves, and honestly most of the staff. However I can say that the lady who usually works the front desk isn't exactly the nicest person. When I have called to ask questions she comes off very condescending. I have went to this vet about 5 times now and it is always the same. I want my animals to get the best care, but I do not want to be talked down to at the same time.

Had to get my cats their rabies shots, they are shy around new people but warmed up to the dr very quick. No reaction from the two when they got their shots and it was over before they could blink. Very happy with them!

Prompt service but poor quality. They were able to see my cat right away but poorly diagnosed him and said he could come home same day, a few hours after I dropped him off. My cat had gotten worse overnight at home. I called them in the middle of the night and they basically shrugged it off. I took him to see another vet the next day who did help my cat get better.
