Jackson Veterinary Clinic

My last appointment was for annual checkup. It was more than 35 min before they even saw Duke. Also signs everywhere about not filling online subscriptions, and there's a fee for getting a written prescription? I asked for a nail trim. They did it, but they only clipped the very end and they're still to long. The folks are nice and seem to know what they're doing, but I may need to look for another vet. The written prescription cost was $5, but I had to wait 30 min to get it. 😩

I would not bring my animal here if this was the last vet office on earth. I do not feel like I am heard, listen to at all from this staff. The last time I was here was with my dog, and I was not listening to about my concerns at all. My mother still goes there for her cat. ( she went today and I was on the phone explaining what my mother cannot) And I was dismissed once again I was not heard they could care less but When you live in Monticello, you don’t have that many options and Jackson vet is the closest and cheapest and I don’t always have the time and money to go somewhere better but this will be the last time my family will ever come and waste time and money when these incompetent people!!!!

My dogs love this place. The customer service is great. The Doctors are awesome. Best prices around. Dr. Burdette and Amber have been taking care of my dogs for a while now. My dogs actually pull me inside of the office because they are so excited to see their friends...lol. Lisa is great. She has all the answers and will do all she can to get you in when things are crazy at the office if it's possible. Thank you all🥰

Have been brining my baby here for years. Never had any major issues with the Veterinarians themselves. Loved Dr. Morgan, she was the reason I stayed despite the attitude of the front office staff. When she left and went to Barnesville I considered taking my baby there but decided to stay. But I have had the same issue, regarding prescriptions twice. Somehow the prescription record is "lost and confused" and instead of refilling them I have to pay for extra unnecessary heart worm test. It absurd. So lets get this straight, I spend money taking my dog to the vet for "check ups" and spend money on heartworm and tick/flea prevention but lie about actually giving her the medication.... I visited today for the first time to get a second opinion on my cat that has a mast cell tumor and had a fantastic experience. Darien, the vet tech was very attentive, professional, and full of empathy. I absolutely loved her and could her her love for animals. I saw the vet next and he explained everything so it was very easy to understand. He aswered all my questions and was very patient and educated me on mast cell tumors. I am very thankful to the staff who made me feel welcomed and comfortable.
