Island Lake Veterinary Clinic is the clinic that we trust. Over 15 years Dr.Max and his team keep my pets safe and healthy. Dr. Max always very professional and straightforward. I do appreciate that because Im coming to the clinic for help and diagnosis and fast reaction if my dogs aren’t feeling well. I don’t need social interaction I need results and it’s always there! I’m driving over one hour to the clinic but it’s worth it because I have my trust in Dr. Max and his amazing team! If you care about your pets, Doctor Max and the Island Lake Veterinary Clinic is the right place to go!

This is one of the best places I have ever been to: the care for my furry babies is unparalleled. Along with regular examinations, I have had two dogs with some very serious health problems and Dr. Max provided wonderful diagnostic and care (that was missed by other veterinary clinic). I don’t care about bells and whistles of the clinic. I needed a professionalism and expertise and that is exactly what I have got. Strongly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was introduced to the Island Lake Veterinary Clinic almost eleven years ago and it was the best introduction I could ask for. Doctor Max is an amazing doctor and man! This doctor has helped our pets after hours, on holidays and weekends…and didn’t drain our pockets, because he cares more about our pets and people than making some extra money. I’ve read some poor reviews and to each their own but I disagree with all of them. This man is a human being with a life outside the work place, like all of us. No matter what has happened in this man’s life, he has opened that clinic to make sure all of our pets are cared for. My first experience with doctor Max was a sad one. I had a 10 year old Border Collie that began urinating constantly and went blind. I took her to Banfield Veterinary Hospita

I want to acknowledge the great work of the receptionists and staff at this veterinary clinic, except for Dr.Max. He is the worst vet I’ve ever seen. The first thing that stands out is his strong smell of alcohol. He is very unpleasant and gives diagnoses to dogs just by looking at them, without any examination or tests. Our dog seemed to have an allergy, and when I asked what exactly it was, he just said “how would I know?” Instead of a proper consultation, he just gave a shot and that was it. I don’t believe in some x-ray vision that lets him diagnose instantly. Also, it’s completely unacceptable to be half-drunk at work, especially as a veterinarian! I will never come back here and I don’t recommend it to others.

Very kind doctor-owner of that clinick. We are very thankful to him for saving life to our cat many years ago. So when we moved to FL, I trusted only him and brought our new cat to him. It took a long trip, but he is the best: Maxim Iluhin
