Such and amazing place. The staff and Dr. Dave really cares about your pets and go above and beyond. I have been going to this vet over 10yrs they are so knowledgeable and have so much integrity to do what's needed. Recently had a serious issue with my older dog on a day they were closed, I left a message knowing they were open the next day and early that next morning, they not only got my message but called me before they opened to help my with what to do next which was a huge relief!! That is customer service, compassion and caring, I was impressed. I will only and always go to Dr. Dave and Island Animal Hospital as a pet owner. A special thank you to Dr. Dave and the staff who are amazing!

I recently visited Island Animal Hospital with my dog, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Dr. Bongiorno is truly exceptional — knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. We were seen promptly, without any long waits, which was greatly appreciated. The care and professionalism of everyone at the clinic made the visit stress-free and reassuring. It’s wonderful to have such a dedicated and reliable veterinary team here on Marco Island. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch care for their beloved pets.

My dog hates going to the vet. But she kissed that doctor and he is so good with her. She has had surgery with him and regular check ups. We moved to Naples from Marco island, tried 2 other vets and started going back to island animal hospital. Worth the drive.

The staff and Dr. are so kind and friendly. They were very gentle with the kitty we found. She had a break in the tip of her tail.
