I cannot say enough good things about Innovative K9 Academy. They are amazing. David was great to talk to and helped me to decide which training program was best for my dog Otis. We rescued him when he was young and unfortunately he had trauma in his life before coming to us. He often snapped at me and my husband and we did not trust him and were worried he might bite us or someone else. He went to Innovative K9 for 25 days and came back a much happier, more confident and very obedient dog. His trainer Joe is amazing. He has a special place in my heart. Not only did he train Otis to be obedient he focused on building a relationship of trust. Otis loves Joe and therefore loved his training. While Otis was in training I was sent several videos a week of him in training. This was incredibly

We have a baby and a toddler at home and made the decision to get a puppy. What were we thinking! I had very low moments where I was concerned I might actually have to rehome our sweet Miller because it was simply too much. Then we found Dave with Innovative K9. Miller took the Dream Dog course at 5 months and it was a complete game changer. He helped us understand our dog and what he needs. Instead of constantly yelling “no” all day long, we now know how to direct him. He stays in his bed throughout dinner until we release him, comes back to us on short hikes with an excellent recall, and is overall able to be the amazing pup he’s always been. HIGHLY recommend.

My family adopted a 3 month old puppy (Mr. Mojo Stromboli) from a rescue organization not knowing his DNA makeup. He turned out to be a bunch of different large guardian breeds with some Belgian malinois thrown in for good measure. I tried all the free YouTube training videos online. Meh. I took him to a trainer once a week for a couple of months. He learned the basics like sit, shake, actually that's about it. The more advanced things didn't stick. -Walking him was miserable due to him being huge and pulling. -He would bark at a hummingbird fart. -He wouldn't stop using my 8 year old son as his own personal chew toy. -His resource guarding was scary. -Recall was non-existent. -"Leave it" meant take whatever I want and keep it. The stress level in our home was not sustainable. Something h

We had the best experience having our puppy trained with Innovative K9. Our rambunctious German shepherd Jagger attended the 18 day program and came back so obedient and well mannered. A few of my favorite skills he came back with are: he is amazing on leash, instantly recalls, and no longer tries to pick on our older dog. Leaving your dog for an extended amount of time can be a bit daunting, but rest assured that your dog will be well cared for with these guys. Jake was the trainer that spent the most time with Jagger and there are only positive things to say about him. He sent many videos of Jagger and his trainings. My kids loved watching them while Jagger was away, and the videos are also great to look at while continuing his training at home. In the videos we could see all the praise

10/10 for Innovative K9 and their team! We have a new born, toddler, and Hans, our Greater Swiss Mountain dog weighing in around 120lbs. He was a good dog before K9 camp and he is a great dog now. They helped Hans with his manners in the home and now he will lay (and stay) on his bed during floor time or while my son sets up his train table. He has nearly 100% accuracy on off leash recall, and I can now walk him on leash which was a battle before K9 camp. 10/10 would recommend.
