Ended up rescuing two feral kittos recently. They were SPICY! Lord Jesus if you could make money off of cat scratches I'd me a millionaire. I brought them back to back on separate days to these fine folks. Getting them into the carriers was something out of Saving Private Ryan (I know, my names Ryan). There was litter, sand explosions, it was rough. But as soon as I got them to the vet, it was walking on sunshine. I warned them, these guys are rough. I asked how they did when they brought them back and the staff looked at me like I was crazy. "They both did fantastic and apart from the worms seem very healthy". Again, feral cats remember. The entire staff was very polite and accommodating. Dr. Harris came in and took the time to sit and talk with me and answer all my questions. She made me feel really comfortable that she really cares for her job. I feel that's very important. People want people taking care of their pets who actually care. Both of my dogs were very relaxed.

I would like to express my appreciation for the care and consideration shown during my dog’s recent visit. My dog becomes very nervous at veterinary appointments, and the staff was clearly attentive to his comfort and emotional well-being throughout the visit. The team was kind, patient, and genuinely concerned about how he was feeling, which made a stressful situation much easier for both of us. I especially appreciated the Office Manager taking the time to explain why the visit proceeded as it did and what we should expect at the next appointment. That clear communication was extremely helpful and reassuring. Overall, the staff was professional, compassionate, and supportive. Thank you for providing such thoughtful care.

My bearded dragon became sick so I called around looking for an emergency vet for reptiles. Wow, we were Blessed with Dr Garret and the wonderful staff at Indian River!! My Charlie was treated like a Queen! Everyone was warm, caring and both the doctor and staff were extremely thorough! Thank you Dr Garret for outstanding care!!
