I like to thank IVAR for giving us the best two kitties ever! I love them. They are two girls where one is calm and the other one can't stop talking. It loves to hear its voice in the hallways. People there seems to love what they do and the volunteers are kind enough to answer any questions. Anyone who is looking for someone to fill your hearts with love and comfort should stop by and check them out.

Went down to adopt a dog and found the cutest little 3 month old girl Rottweiler puppy named Ova. Had my cautions with her potential size but after doing my research found Rottweilers are actually really loyal and gentle family members. They are great and sometimes clumsy in a goofy way. But hey so are my kids. After 1 or 2 days she found her place and we are happy to welcome her in to her forever family. Thanks Kris

Attempted to give a kitty home. Visited family in the area and have been interested in adopting. Walked in, told them how far we live. Nobody mentioned their policy is that they can’t adopt that far out. An hour and 20 minutes. I check the websites and animals listings to see if they say they have a radius and didn’t see anywhere that said that prior to visiting. The First Lady said we had to talk to the manager so Sue came in, had her hand on her face and just kept shaking her head and saying “no, can’t do that. No can’t go that far out. Go to a shelter where you live” she talked a lot just to keep saying the same thing. My shelter doesn’t have an abundance of cats and they get adopted quickly. Decided to go to this shelter because my family spoke so so highly of it and the amount of cat

First I can get the cat then I can't..mixed messages for 4 days..bad communication among staff..poor animals they should be in charge instead of humans!!

I got may baby from here! He was about 9 when we got him. The only problem we have is that we missed out on 9 years with him. I, personally have never loved a dog so much in my life. Brutus is our big puppy. Biggest snuggle bug ever and so sweet. Gets along great with everybody. We are so grateful to have found him.
